Tuscany it ain't
It's nearing the end of summer and wanted to capture some local color with a quick sketch. Travel sketching is always a great way to remember locations in addition to honing hand-eye coordination. Sometimes the hand and eye aren't in sync. Keep practicing.
Tiki Time
A quick attempt at some Speedy-Carve™art. Great opportunity to try just the face of a Tiki, using Speedball's various carving tools with their popular pink carving pad. You could use any water soluble ink or paint, but I used Ranger's Distress Ink (Walnut Stain). I'll try printing on different colors and backgrounds to see what develops.
Summer Sprint
Although not officially summer, the migration has already started. Tourists and locals behave the same, but the town folk always discriminate. Me? I'll be running toward the mountains.
